Esther Sperber

Esther Sperber founded Studio ST Architects in 2003, after working at Pei Architects for more than five years, during which she had the privilege of working closely with world renowned architect Mr. I. M. Pei. Born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, she studied architecture at the Technion, Haifa and holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University, New York.

Sperber writes and lectures about architecture, psychoanalysis, religion, and culture. Her work has been published in the New York Times, The Huffington Post, Lilith, the Jewish Week, TOI, Architizer, Architect Magazine as well as many academic books and journals.

Sperber has lectured at Harvard’s GSD, Yale University, UMass, School of Visual Arts, The Israel Museum, Yeshiva University, JTS, Psychology and the Other, Division 39, WAW Institute. She is a frequent speaker on podcases including Business of Architecture, Constructed Futures, Hineni, Sessions.
